What's worse, the drivers used in the Logitech satellites are of the exact size (2.5") which is worst for reproducing both midrange and treble. ![]() Best Buy has the VS4121 on demo - but the satelites over there are placed on a metal shelf with holes all over the shelf, so that the midrange gets lost through the holes on the shelf.Īnd I am generally unimpressed with any of the Logitech speakers at any price point: None of the Logitech speakers have even a separate tweeter, only single or multiple equally-sized "full-range" drivers in their satellites. Sure, that Altec VS4121 is "recommended" by Tyll Hertsens - but I found it to sound good only when the satelites are placed on certain surfaces. I am surprised with many of the recommendations in this thread. ![]()
